Miami, U.S., May 11, 2005 (Notimex) - The main
creations and models in Latin American runways will take over
Miami this week during the Miami Fashion Week , which brings
together the best designers.
Top designers like Oscar de la Renta (Dominican republic), Silvia
Tcherassi (Colombia), Ocimar Versolato (Brazil), Hernán Zajar
(Colombia) and Rubén Campos (Chile) will be in Miami to present
their 2006-Spring designs.
The marked Latin taste of these designers can be witnessed in
their creative collections full of style, impeccable cut and
tropical-colored fabrics.
The seventh edition of the Fashion Week, to take place this year
on May 11 through 15, include the presence of more than 25 Latin
American designers, seven Venezuelans, five Colombians, as well as
Peruvians, Mexicans, Ecuadorians, Argentineans and Panamanians.
Like in the past, the giant tent mounted at the Miami Beach will
also shelter designers from Europe, Asia, the United States and
the Caribbean.
Beyond fashion, the week will also become a platform for designers
to make good connections with great US stores like Saks, Fifth
Avenue, Bloomingdales, Macy"s .
Oher talented designers are Italy's Roberta Scarpa, Russia's
Vemina Fashion House, India's Aparna Chandra and Mexico's, Pineda
Covalin.
Accessory designers attending the show will be Fassardi
and Rohrscheib, Esther Soued, , Simi Albo, Sonia Stephen and
Viviane Guenoun from Venezuela, Maricarla Casos from Peru, Martha
Vargas from Mexico, Missair from Argentina and Gemstore from Canadá.
